Send five microphone or line signals through to four zones via the efficient ART MX524 zone mixer. Each of the five channels is kitted out with zone buttons so they can be set up to send the right audio to the right room. Perfect for completing the sound systems in multi-room recording studios, permanent installations like the backstage of a theatre, restaurants, clubs, and in fact, any public space, the flexible MX524 zone mixer comes pre-fitted with steel rack ears so it can be installed in a 19 inch rack, where it takes up 3U of space. Even when not rack mounted, this unit can be safely placed on a desktop thanks to the stable feet fitted on the base.

So the sound can be shaped as needed, each channel has been equipped with a two-band equalizer, a gain control and volume control. Each microphone input features a phantom power switch, so this unit is compatible with active condenser microphones as well as passive dynamic microphones, and around the back, you'll find ports for connecting up your monitors; priority channels with a ducking feature; and a phone input which, if needed, can be set up to automatically mute a specific zone when active.
